will report to and assist the Area Vice President of Pharmacy Operations with overseeing pharmacies within the assigned region. The District Manager will supervise the work of a team of Pharmacy Managers at various locations and perform a variety of administrative, analytical, recruiting, onboarding, training, and workflow management responsibilities.This position will be responsible for overseeing Avita pharmacy locations in the Eastern and some parts of the Southern region of the U.S.
Residency in the state of Texas required.About the Role:Oversee assigned pharmacy locations to ensure operations run efficiently, foster business growth and adhere to policy guidelinesContribute to the plans and achievements of pharmacy goalsActively participates in the assessment and continuous improvement of patient services, processes, policies, and proceduresManages a team of Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)Serve as a communication liaison between PICsCoordinates PIC schedules and approve Paid Time Off (PTO)Ensures that policies and procedures are consistently followedFollow and assures compliance with all accreditation requirementsComply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policiesProactively identify and analyze problems and provide effective solutionsDirects the training of new pharmacy operations team membersTravel for business as needed (up to 50%)Embrace and perform in the spirit of the company’s core values and goalsOther duties assigned as neededAbout You:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from an accredited university5+ years of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferredCertifications in different areas of Pharmacy and completion of an accredited Post-Graduate residency program a plusPharmacy management experience requiredPharmacy license in good standing requiredMust be registered with the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation or State Board of Pharmacy340B experience preferredAAHIV Certification preferredExperience with pharmacy software such as PioneerRX, QSI, etc.Familiarity with Electronic Medical/Health Records (EMR/EHR) such as EPIC, NextGen, CERNER, etc.Strong Technical and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)Excellent leadership, interpersonal, analytical, customer service, and communication skillsProactive self-starter with high degree of initiativeAble to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environmentMust reside in the state of TexasAt Avita Care Solutions, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do.
