Our goal is to understand our clients' unique needs and support them throughout a lifetime of financial goals.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do as an Associate, Insurance Group:Manage outside relationships, including Brokerage General Agencies, Insurance Carriers, and other vendors. Manage and underwrite insurance cases, including gathering and assembling the medical and financial file.Based on many years of industry experience, review medical files to determine any health issues that may arise in the underwriting process. Negotiate with medical underwriters.Communicate to internal colleagues and external parties as to the timeline and status of cases.Manage all application paperwork and delivery documents. Interface directly with both Sales Associates and In-Force Policy Service professionals. Advise Estate and Business Planner on overall case strategy and implementation.Manage business utilizing Smart Office agency management systemAdvise Estate and Business Planner on marketing strategies, as a result of communications with carriers and outside parties. Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank. QualificationsYou could be a great fit if you have:Life, Accident & Health Insurance Licensed required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.Series 6 and 63 required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Series 7 preferred. Requires a high level of communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Strong attention to detail.Excellent time management skills.The ideal candidate has worked in an insurance or financial services organization.Experience with SmartOffice agent fee management system is preferredProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.Job Demands:Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
