The Workday Financial Services and Insurance Delivery team is an industry focused team that helps frame the solution delivery of Workday, partnering with our consultants to execute and manage the delivery plan, and ultimately helping our client achieve rapid time to value. Workday's Financial Services and Insurance team is driven by a passion for our products and the success of our customers in implementing our industry leading Cloud-based software solutions. We're a diverse group of people, with an invaluable mix of experience and backgrounds located across the country and world. We work on customer implementations of various Workday products, often balancing multiple customer projects at one time. We mostly work remotely but that doesn't stop our sense of collaboration, supportiveness, and fun!About the RoleYou will be responsible for managing a portfolio of project engagements, implementation plans, status reporting, issue and risk management, and developing meaningful relationships representing Workday Financials to our clients.The successful candidate for this role will:Have a Project management background in the Applications/ Financials spaceLead cross functional teams to successfully deliver Workday implementation projectsEnsure that schedules and budgets are developed and maintained for projectsPossess strong project management and presentation skillsBe willing to travel, up to 50%Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approaches and develop a proposalProvide guidance and mentoring to those Professional Service resources working on their implementationsEnsure projects are properly planned and staffedIdentify opportunities to position other service offerings to support customers within this industryEnsure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementationParticipate in Financial Services and Insurance industry planning discussionsAbout YouBasic Qualifications3+ years of software delivery project management experience leading software implementation projects3+ years of experience implementing HCM, Payroll, Financials, Planning or Supply Chain implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, Lawson, SuccessFactors, Cognos, TM1, Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream or similar applications.3+ years experience working with/for medium to large Financial Services Industry customers or equivalent experienceOther Qualifications3+ years in a customer facing services role (consulting or account management) that includes issue resolution and customer concern management at both the business owner and executive levels.Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfort with communication with senior executivesAble to efficiently research customer issues and questions with a follow through to resolutionExperience of managing 3rd parties on a projectBusiness development or service sales experienceAbility to travel up to 50%Workday is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.Further, pursuant to applicable local ordinances, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.You may view the Workday's Pay Transparency Policy, and Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law notice, by clicking on their corresponding links.Workday is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans during our application process.
