We're pioneering the development of the nation's first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from the ground up. This network represents the cornerstone of a truly connected world, unbound by the constraints of the past and adaptable to meet the diverse and evolving needs of our rapidly changing society, economy and technology landscape.Job Duties and Responsibilities:The NOC Staff Engineer maintains DISH Wireless network resilience and efficiency, evaluating issues to develop corrective actions. They contribute to ongoing process improvements, leveraging KPI metrics to enhance customer experience by maximizing uptime and minimizing errors.Key Responsibilities:Guides technical troubleshooting expertise for escalated incidentsServes as subject matter expert for 5G Core, IMS, and Messaging solutionsHandles outages and service degradations, performing initial RCA and coordinating with vendors and engineering teamsGuides troubleshooting bridges with internal and vendor teamsEngages and escalates critical issues with the Core Tier III/Engineering teamDevelops key metrics for performance monitoring and service assuranceCollaborates with vendors for incident resolution and RCA#LI-LM1Skills, Experience and Requirements:Education and Experience:Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Telecommunications EngineeringMinimum of 8 years of experience in the Wireless industry, ideally within carrier or vendor environmentsSkills and Qualifications:Proficiency in Core IMS is essentialDemonstrated expertise in troubleshooting network packet capturesExperience with Nokia and Mavenir Core is advantageousAbility to evaluate large volumes of technical data and thrive in a fast-paced settingStrong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
