We are backed by prominent venture capitalists such as Ribbit Capital, Thrive Capital, GIC, Index Ventures, Green Oaks Capital, and SV Angel and have raised more than $94M in equity and $200M in debt.About the PositionWe are looking for an experienced software engineer to join the merchant decisioning team and build a scalable platform/infrastructure that is critical for underwriting and decisioning hundreds of thousands of businesses on a daily basis. As part of the team, you will be working closely with Data Science, Growth and Risk stakeholders to efficiently serve the product initiatives that serve Parafin’s portfolio and empower stakeholders with controls to determine Parafin’s growth and bottom line.Are you an excellent software engineer with a drive to solve impactful and difficult problems and eager to build the merchant decisioning platform for an ambitious and growing startup? If so, come join us!What You’ll Be Doing:You will own our Python-based underwriting and application decisioning product and drive its development.
You will closely define the architecture and underlying infrastructure all the way from the technologies we use to the design principles that we apply.
You will work closely with our data scientists to build a platform that is reliable, scalable, and easily iterable.
You will be integrating ML Infrastructure into the platform to make DS-driven decisioning more powerful and intelligent.
What We’re Searching For:3+ years of experience working in an engineering role
You care deeply about building high-quality infrastructure with relevant experience and take immense pride in your craft.
You are comfortable owning and driving the development of the product from 0 to 1.
You thrive in ambiguity and have a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.
You are excited about working on a small team and helping us set the foundations for the company.
What We OfferSalary Range: $190K - $220K
