Oracle Application Developer The Oracle Application Developer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud and E-Business Suite EBS applications. This role involves a variety of responsibilities related to the integration, synchronization, and reporting of Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle technologies, including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic solutions aligned with the HCM Solutions team's roadmap. Preferred Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Fast Formulas, Workflows, and HCM Extracts. Experience with APEX Oracle Application Express for building web applications. Proficiency in Oracle technologies such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher. Hands-on experience with interfaces, reports, and forms. Human Resource Management Systems HRMS: Solid understanding of core modules: HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor. Familiarity with key HR processes including employee onboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing, time and labor, and performance management. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle HCM functionality, data, and performance. Job Summary Contributes to the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and maintenance of moderately to more complex websites and/or software. Documents development and maintenance efforts, assists in integrating assigned work with other system components, and designs and performs functional testing. Essential Functions Oracle HCM Responsibilities: Integration & Reporting Development: Develop and maintain complex outbound integrations and reports for HR, Payroll, and Benefits systems. Approx. 70% of these tasks involve complex processes, with the remaining 30% at medium to standard difficulty. Lead Developer for Benefits Integrations: Maintain, support, and develop benefit integration files, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and LTD/STD files for annual open enrollment. Approval Rules Management: Lead the creation, maintenance, and support of complex HCM approval rules. Major Projects and Object Development: Collaborate with other applications teams to manage objects in HCM related to the HCM Solutions goals and initiatives. This includes working on various objects such as fast formulas, value sets, e-text templates and extract definitions. Oracle Redwood UI Migration: Contribute to the team's efforts to migrate to Oracle Redwood UI and other high-impact projects. Oracle EBS Responsibilities: Backup Developer for EBS HR & Labor Distribution: Provide backup support for Oracle EBS HR and Labor Distribution applications, utilizing Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL procedures. Data Synchronizations: Oversee, troubleshoot, and optimize various Oracle HCM-EBS synchronizations. Labor Distribution: Lead the balancing of labor distribution from HCM to Oracle EBS for each payroll cycle. Maintain and run processes for batching labor distribution to the general ledger and support data transfers between custom labor distribution modules and the effort reporting platform, Etc. Working with PC related hardware equipment, software applications and telephony systems. Written and verbal communication. Interpersonal relations. Analyzing and organizing information. Planning. Physical Effort Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
