About the role: The Senior Global Product Manager will develop, lead, and execute portfolio marketing strategies and initiatives to grow the Boston Scientific Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) franchise, part of Boston Scientific's Peripheral Interventions division. He/she/they will serve as franchise lead managing and championing the CVI portfolio marketing strategy, both internally and externally with specific focus on portfolio positioning, clinical data and product economics.
This individual will also serve as the divisional liaison to lead and manage all Acotec commercial activities across Boston Scientific's Peripheral Interventions portfolio to accelerate innovation and global growth. Boston Scientific has a strategic investment and majority stake in Acotec Scientific Holdings, a Chinese medical technology company that offers solutions designed for a variety of interventional procedures. This role will prioritize opportunities to deliver on short-and long-term goals, developing strategies to accelerate portfolio innovation, increase revenue, and protect against competition. He/she/they will serve as the primary liaison driving collaboration and execution with global and country Peripheral Interventions' Marketing teams as well as with cross-functional partners including R&D, Program Management, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical Affairs & Education, Sourcing, and more.
CVI Portfolio Responsibilities: Lead and manage economic marketing strategies, focusing on demonstrating the value of the CVI portfolio. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create compelling portfolio value propositions and programs. Continue to evolve the portfolio value proposition, positioning, and messaging, with a focus on the CVI portfolio economic story to support overarching business messaging while bridging messaging to specific products. Partner with the Brand Activation team in creating an integrated marketing communications plan that leverages the CVI portfolio's positioning and messaging to address business goals Establish customer-specific/account-level targeting and create a strategy on how to approach various customers with portfolio-level messaging vs. product-specific messaging vs. economic messaging. Partner with Sales Training to create a field-focused training program to ensure rep understanding of the value of the CVI portfolio, the competitive differentiation of the portfolio, effective selling of the portfolio, and account targeting. Develop portfolio content to be used in multichannel campaigns, Innovation Center customer visits, industry conferences and sales materials. Partner with Brand Activation on development and execution of tactics to communicate portfolio messaging. Monitor the competitive landscape and evolve portfolio positioning, messaging and marketing initiatives as needed to maintain clear, differentiated value proposition in marketplace. Partner with Medical Affairs to support and advance a Key Opinion Leader and industry conference strategies to deepen physician engagement and advocacy for the CVI portfolio including execution of supporting events and initiatives. Acotec Commercial Lead Responsibilities:
Lead strategic commercial planning efforts for Acotec initiatives working in partnership with global and country marketing teams, to develop fully detailed business strategies to accelerate beyond current growth. Lead new product market mapping, identifying potential gaps and opportunities, ensuring new product ideas and commercial strategies meet market demands and align with the division's broader strategic goals. Develop strategic plans aimed at maximizing global market share and revenue, promoting new product launches, portfolio expansion and building brand awareness - champion in partnership with cross-functional teams on key inputs such as customer insights, clinical plan, regulatory requirements, reimbursement, new product development requirements, Supplier Quality integration, etc. Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on commercial performance and initiatives. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or healthcare 5+ years prior commercial marketing, product management, or strategic marketing 3+ years of medical device experience 2+ years of demonstrated experience with product lifecycle management Experience in managing complex projects, incorporating diverse needs from numerous stakeholders and delivering on commitments including driving decision making and recommendations to senior leadership Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership and interpersonal skills Experience leading cross functional teams within a dynamic, matrixed and hybrid work environment Proven ability to influence drive alignment across diverse teams to achieve consensus and execution of strategic initiatives Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, to include international travel Preferred Qualifications:
