Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a
Scrum Master
in our Chantilly, VA office in support of an IC customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated, and high-performing team. You will support an exciting program that supports the development, delivery, and maintenance of solutions for the customer's data engineering office. Your responsibilities will include, but limited to:Serve as liaisons between the product owner, O&M team, cross functional teams, and management to ensure all targets and requirements are included in the release.
Coach the team on how to self-organize and plan work into enabling features and stories along program increments and sprintsRemove individual and team impediments and guide the team to remove impedimentsOutline and prioritize work based on program initiatives and business value.Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budgetMaintain product backlog and facilitate productivity by removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and constantly seeking efficient and effective process improvement.Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.Ensure process standardization of all Scrum events to include but not limited to: Sprint Planning Meetings, Daily Stand-up Meetings, Reviews and Retrospectives.Collaborate with other Scrum Masters within the program to share knowledge and best practices.Teach technical teams basic to advanced Agile concepts including Epic and User Story creation, Scrum, best practices and tools.
Qualifications
RequiredMinimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; 15 years in lieu of degree.Experience as Scrum Master with in-depth knowledge of delivering projects/tasks to the Customer.Strong knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies.Experience with ServiceNow and/or JIRA Ticketing systems.TS SCI with polyDesiredExperience with creating dashboards and/or metrics with Jira/Confluence.Knowledge of AWS or AWS GovCloud & native AWS administrative tools and dashboards.Experience with scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control managementStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExperience with cloud computing service including enterprise architecture, application planning, and deploymentExperience with providing data driven metrics at customer and stakeholder engagements that lead to solution driven development and completion of tasksExperience managing, coaching, and mentoring teams.Experience aligning multiple teams with different agile methodologies to ensure a quality software product and customer satisfaction.
