Your Impact

The Full Stack Developer will perform rapid application development within a Computer Vision (CV) environment. Develop and maintain a Python -based computer vision processing system that serves as the backend for a user facing application. Develop and maintain a GUI application using modern REST API and Web frameworks. You will work closely with intelligence analysts, ETL engineers, and customers to incorporate new features and scale the application. Utilize best practices for source control, testing, and deployment of software changes.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in the architectural design of features early in the development cycleWork with Customer Stakeholders, Program Managers, and Product Owners to translate the road map features into management components/tasks, estimate timings, and resources, suggest solutions, and identify possible riskConduct peer reviews to improve code qualityHelp to follow development testing, exploratory testing, AI testing, and/or test automationOwn your code in production, respond to incidents as they occur, and participate in retros to determine how to be better in the futureWork towards reducing the total number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in developmentResolve all critical and high-priority security defects in-sprint, or by the guidelines set by the SecOps teamHelp build high-performing teams, grow and mentor the technical skills within the team and create development opportunities for them

Required Skills

Active TS /SCI clearance required.Bachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field - Master's degree is a plus!6+ years of experience as a software engineerRobust object-oriented design pattern knowledge and implementation experience using PythonStrong understanding of data modeling techniquesExperience working with la rg e volumes of time series data and building services, APIs, and applications based of itExperience working with relational/non-relational databases and understanding of storage technologies (like Postgresql, MongoDB, and BigQuery)Experience with DevOps tools like GitIntermediate experience level of authoring and running Gitlab CI/CDpipelines
