seeks an experienced and energetic Configuration Analyst to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges providing range capabilities and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. Interested applicants should possess experience and an understanding of launch range operations. This position is located at Vandenberg SFB.

Required Qualifications: This position is responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications. Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations. Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met. Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures. May structure and maintain databases. Submits engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status. Prepares configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs. Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. ARES offers a competitive compensation and benefit package. Full time employees may participate in:
