Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Military Operations Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to provide the US Army PEO IEW&S Integration Directorate with day-to-day operations support across a variety of functions while working with a diverse team of government, military, contract staff to accomplish key missions for the organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
Execute suspense coordination, serve as the proponent for all taskers, requirements, and RFIs that require PEO IEW&S Integration Directorate review and action.
Monitor several sources for received taskers and requirements to include, but not limited to, Integration Directorate email inbox, and HQDA Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
Establish and maintain database and electronic files to capture all critical information pertaining to Integration Directorate programs/efforts within the directorate SharePoint Site.
Be responsible for the preparation of weekly/quarterly reports to headquarters, participation in weekly staff meetings, coordinating external meetings/visits, and management of government property.
Serve as a technical practitioner in areas relevant to the project.
Produce and review technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific technical area.
Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes to increase efficiency.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Minimum Associate Degree or 2 year technical school in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline. Bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum three (3) years relevant experience required demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities to execute the duties of this position
Solid experience in Microsoft 365 array of products, to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Teams, and SharePoint
Demonstrated experience in conducting analysis and developing solutions and in the application of information technology.
Willingness and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-tempo environment with colleagues from various levels and roles within the Integration Directorate
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to brief Integration Directorate leadership on programs and efforts tracked
Must be a great team player and willing to work in a collaborative environment both in person and through remote communications methods
Must possess a US DoD secret clearance or higher
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Prior Military experience a plus.
Prior experience supporting technical programs, particularly sensors and command and control systems, a plus.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret

$70,500.00 - $123,400.00
