The Technical Design Assistant will play an integral role in ensuring that their products are of the highest quality and meet the needs and expectations of customers.
Responsibilities
Assist the Technical Design Team in developing technical packs with specifications for garment construction, fit, and materials Review and analyze samples to ensure accuracy in fit and construction Communicate with vendors to coordinate sample development, conduct fittings, and resolve any technical issues or concerns Manage and maintain digital and physical records of tech packs, fit comments, and other relevant information Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide technical expertise and contribute to project development Requirements Associate's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field 1+ years' experience in technical design in the apparel industry Proficient in the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Excel, and other related software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and materials Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and highly organized in record-keeping and sample management.
