. The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Product Support Engineer- Split Systems to join our dynamic team in Alpharetta, GA as part of the LGEUS CAC Controls Product Support Engineering Team! Provide elevated pre & post sales engineering support to LG staff and customers on proper application of LG Residential & Commercial Split System products, and OA / DOAS products. Work with LG sales and Rep/Distributor sales on specific projects that present unique or challenging application designs that employ the use of LG products. Assist in the creation and maintenance of application presentations, documents & tools used by LG staff & customers, handled by the Product Support Engineering team. Work as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review data provided by R&D in New Product Introductions (NPIs), develop technical content details, and review all related materials in the material development process prior to its release to Tech Writers, Marketing and Operation teams. Conduct application training and seminars for LG staff & customers on new and existing LG products when necessary. Work with LG sales team to identify opportunities to develop strategies and application knowledge that promote sales. Provide support to other teams in creation and review of catalogs, brochures, submittals, guide specifications, engineering manuals, presentations, etc. Support marketing events to promote LG products as a viable and preferred manufacturer in the marketplace. Assist with tracking industry direction and developments in ASHRAE, AHRI, DOE, EPA and other standards, and develop strategies for application of products/systems accordingly. Work with Platform Management to support product development requirements for existing & new products. Assist with business case creation of new product based on market needs and customer feedback.

To be successful you will need Bachelor of Science in ME, EE or equivalent 3-5 years experience in HVAC design or applied commercial heating & air conditioning industry Experience in the following would be a plus technical product applications support Successful history of interaction with factory R&D teams NPI: product definition, product/feature prioritization, product details/operation, strategic application and positioning Experience with VRF HVAC systems a plus Travel when necessary

Recruiting Range $90,000-$120,000 USD
