Summary:
Participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of the group's automation and test architecture including tools and infrastructure.
Participate in the evaluation, selection and development of test automation tools applying latest techniques and processes (test-driven development, data-driven testing, etc.).
Project Details:Develop and maintain automation test infrastructure and test scriptsWork on cross-functional project teams comprised of Developers, Product Owners, Architects, Systems engineers, DevOps, Marketing, Quality, and RegulatoryInterface with product owners, software developers and key stakeholders to determine correct software behaviors and provide technical contributions towards solving engineering problems and providing testing solutionsReview and analyze requirements, test cases to ensure proper test coverage and test adequacyWrite and maintain clear and concise testing and engineering documents including plans, procedures, protocols and reportsEstablish and maintain traceability from test cases to requirementsDesign, develop and execute verification and validation test plans and test cases to ensure system architecture and functionality meet requirements and specificationsAnalyze test results and defects to ensure proper dispositionEstablish and maintain traceability from test cases to requirementsParticipate in all phases of software development life cycle from requirements definition to deploymentEstablish and enhance existing test and agile processes and documentationDemonstrate ability and desire to work within a regulated medical device development environmentJob Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field, plus two years of relevant experience or four years of experience in lieu of a relevant degreeExperience in utilizing automated test tools to write test scripts and efficiently run software tests is preferredPossess a strong and extensive working knowledge of computer hardware and softwareWorking knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for debugging, analysis, and automationExcellent problem solving and deductive reasoning skillsCreative thinker and passionate about qualityWillingness to work varied hours whenever necessary to achieve the desired resultsHighly organized and detail oriented
