We’re looking for an energetic, passionate Camp Program Director to join our team at Camp Jewell YMCA!
Job Description
What You'll Do:
Help ensure all camp programs meet required standards and guidelines.
Assist with the development of new, fun programs that campers and guests will love.
Support the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of awesome seasonal staff.
Collaborate on special events, campaigns, and committees.
Lead with safety and customer satisfaction as top priorities.
Be a part of a high-energy, mission-driven management team!

Qualifications
What You Need:
Must be 21 years or older.
A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Recreation Management, Education, or related fields).
At least two years of experience in a supervisory role.
A passion for adventure programming, environmental education, and camping!
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
A love for working with youth, adults, and staff in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility with your schedule – because adventure doesn’t always follow a 9-to-5!
First Aid/CPR for Professional Rescuer/AED certification (or willingness to get it within 30 days).
A dedication to the YMCA’s mission and values.
Essential Functions
With the Senior Program Director, ensure that all required standards and guidelines set forth by the Office of Early Childhood and A.C.A. are regularly met.
Assist with updating and developing new programs.
Support staff recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of seasonal staff.
Serve as a member of the management team, assisting with special events, annual campaign, programming, and committees as assigned.
Implement programs that identify safety, quality, and excellent customer service as top priorities.
Accountable for reaching budget goals.
Any other duties assigned.
