We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Specialist for a full-time role at an Estate in West Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing the property’s landscape and gardens. This role involves a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance to specialized gardening, and requires both physical stamina and creativity.

What You Will Do:
General Landscaping
Design, install, and maintain landscape features, including flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscapes. Regularly mow, trim, and edge lawns to maintain a neat and healthy appearance. Implement seasonal plantings and ensure proper care of annuals and perennials. Manage and monitor irrigation systems. Cultivate and care for various garden areas, ensuring optimal plant health and aesthetics. Water, fertilize, and prune plants according to seasonal requirements. Monitor pests and diseases, implementing organic or sustainable management practices as needed. Prepare and arrange seasonal flower bouquets and decorations for the owner. Grow organic vegetables from seeds, ensuring proper planting and harvesting techniques. Maintain vegetable beds, including soil preparation, fertilization, and irrigation. Harvest, clean, and sort vegetables for the household, ensuring high quality and freshness. Save seeds and manage composting initiatives to promote sustainability. Property Management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all gardening tools and equipment. Provide weekly updates on garden conditions and ongoing projects to the owner. Collaborate with third party companies to ensure all areas of the estate are well-maintained. What You Will Bring: Proven experience in landscaping and gardening, preferably in a residential or estate setting. Certification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field (preferred). Knowledge of plant species, horticulture practices, and sustainable gardening methods. Experience with irrigation systems and landscape design (preferred). Knowledge of organic gardening practices and pest management (preferred). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, digging, and prolonged periods outdoors. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
