SMX- SkillBridge Fellowship Program (SFP) Overview:The
SMX- SkillBridge Fellowship Program (SFP)
is an approved SkillBridge Partner under the DoD Skillbridge Program. The SFP program is an opportunity for transitioning military service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship model during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. The SMX Military Internship Program is open to all ranks and experience levels. Skillbridge participants are not eligible for compensation from SMX, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. Training opportunities offered are in a Hybrid Model that allows flexible remote schedules for local candidates close to the training sites.The SkillBridge Fellow will experience:Mentoring and Development

– Opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.Business Impact
– Participate in meaningful projects that add business value across the SMX Enterprise.We understand that service members might not be familiar with all the various functions and roles within a company. On acceptance into the SFP program, the SFP Program Management staff at SMX will provide guidance, mentorship, and work closely with the Fellow to find the best opportunity and fit within our organization.SMX Fellowship Opportunities (but not limited to):Information TechnologyInformation SecurityData ScienceCyber SecuritySecurity ForcesNetworkingCommunicationsOperationsData AnalystQualifications:Must meet all Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Eligibility requirements and be approved to participate in the SkillBridge program with your military installation command.Proven track record of success in military career.Has served at least 180 days on active duty.Is currently active duty and is within 180 days of separation or retirement.Will receive an honorable discharge.Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.Has received Unit Commander approval to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program.Other skills and experience may be required or preferred, depending on the area or role.Security Clearance:Some internships will require an active DoD Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI to participate.
