What This Role Will Do
As a
Managing Director – Valuations , you will:
Build, manage, and lead a team of high-performing valuation professionals.
Oversee and conduct detailed valuations of businesses and assets, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Serve as the primary contact for key clients, providing strategic consulting and expert valuation services.
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging methodologies in valuation, particularly within the energy sector.
Maintain existing client relationships while generating new business opportunities.
Lead business development efforts, including the creation of marketing materials and proposals for new clients.
Oversee the preparation of financial and quantitative analyses, including valuation schedules, fairness opinions, and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver complex valuations for a range of industries, with a focus on energy and infrastructure.
Lead a team of valuation professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Actively participate in business development by identifying new clients, preparing proposals, and leading marketing efforts.
Engage with clients to provide expert advice on valuation matters, ensuring satisfaction and the continued growth of client relationships.
Stay current on valuation trends and regulatory requirements to maintain the firm's competitive edge.
What Makes You Successful in This Role
10+ years of experience in valuation consulting, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional designations such as CFA, CPA, ASA, ABV, or CVA are required.
Proven leadership experience in building and managing teams of valuation professionals.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and provide strategic insights.
