We are looking for an Application Specialist to join our team in Prishtina.What we expect from you
Experience
University Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Engineering or Business IT studies would be a plus).Experience in IT application support area and problem solving.Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft products, Windows OS across relevant versions (installation and configuration of services and applications), Microsoft SQL Server tools (SSMS), Reporting Services etc.Affinity with IT - scripting is highly preferred (PowerShell).Basic understanding of Cloud technologies (preferable Azure).Understanding of CI/CD process.Knowledge of ITIL processes and working with a ticket management solution is preferable.Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities independently and as a member of a team.Fluency in English language (spoken and written).Availability to travel.Responsibilities
Deploy and support operational Banking Software Systems (hosted on Microsoft servers), configuration, parametrization and setting-up the application and Microsoft OS components in test, staging and production environments.Provide technical leadership, advice, and support to the users in the set-up of business requirements for new functionality throughout the release cycle.Monitor production system notifications and act accordingly to resolve urgent problems and participate in the incident management process focusing on application level configurations and application runtime environment performance issues.Automation of internal processes for Banking Software Systems.Engage and communicate with internal stakeholders both from the technical and business environment, 3rd party vendors and security specialists to fulfil the goal of the job requirements.Prepare documentation and support the other knowledge management related processes in the organization.
