We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering 2 (SRE 2) team in Prishtina.What we expect from you
Experience & Skills
Proficiency in Cloud Technologies (public and private), particularly AzureKnowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templatesContainerization Technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)Experience with version control systems like Git or Azure ReposProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash and skilled in monitoring and logging Azure Monitor or other toolsOpen and friendly personality with an ability to interact with people on different hierarchical and technical levelsWell-organised person who can multitask, work independently or as part of a team and has the ability to prioritise work under pressureExcellent English language skills, both spoken and written (German language skills are a strong advantage)Knowledge of ITIL processes and working with a ticket management solution is preferableMicrosoft certifications will be an advantageKnowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is advantageousUniversity Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Engineering or Business IT studies would be a plus)Responsibilities
Provision and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or TerraformEstablish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processesOversee the release process working closely with development and infrastructure teams ensuring deployments and having contingency plans for rollbacks if neededEstablish systems to monitor performance issues or errors in applications proactivelyImplement security measures while adhering to industry norms and lawsInvestigate and resolve issues related to the application, infrastructure, or deployment pipelinesCollaborate with development and testing teams for effective communication and smooth workflowCreate and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, deployment processes, and standard operating proceduresAnalyze and estimate resource requirements to ensure optimum performance and scalability of applicationsImplement backup and business continuity strategies to ensure data protection and business continuityIdentify areas for improvement in the development and deployment processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivityIf you see yourself in this role, we would like to get to know you.
