The Credit Underwriter will coordinate with Loan Officers(s) to ensure a complete loan file has been received to proceed with the underwriting of the borrower/guarantor's financials, credit history and background. The Credit Underwriter will present underwriting findings to Credit Officer and Sr. Management to proceed with loan decision.
Principal Duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Quality Control all documents received. Review Credit Report(s) and Background checks. Validate and derive cash flow, debit service coverage ratio, income from personal and corporate tax forms, paystubs, 1040s, rental agreements, profit and loss statements, pensions and/or retirement benefits. Evaluate and verify borrowers investment track record and schedule of real estate. Present underwriting findings to Senior Management for loan decision Financial modeling and analysis of data Project management as necessary Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 6 + years in loan underwriting, credit analyst or related experience a plus Advanced in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro Strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional follow-through abilities Ability to spread financials: Validate income/derive cash flow from personal and corporate tax forms, paystubs, 1040's, rental agreements, profit and loss statements, pensions and or retirement benefits. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Private/Commercial lending experience a plus Detail oriented and organized with ability to multi-task. Strong customer services skills Continually seeks to improve business processes. Adapts to change easily in a fast-working environment. Ability to underwrite under different investor guidelines at any given time. Technologically savvy, with the ability to work in a paperless environment.

Compensation Range: $90,000-$125,000/annual
