For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the Philippines.About the OpportunityReporting to the Product Leader, the Data Steward maintains the business rules and data catalogue to support our customer-facing teams and continually improve our data quality. Focused on the customer lifecycle, they will support the analysis and implementation of data processes, policies, and maintenance activities that help functions achieve business objectives.The Data Steward has a high attention to detail, is curious about solving customer data problems, and is uniquely skilled at engaging with end users to understand tasks and objectives and seeing them through to timely completion.What you'll get to doImplement policies and data processes to ensure compliance and improve data quality for business users to make better decisions.Enforce data standards across the lifecycle; data stewardship provides consistency and accuracy.Ensure that the data is available, accurate, reliable, and trusted by the company.Conduct manual data research from approved data sources.Use data profiling and other tools to build an inventory of data across the enterprise and regularly update it to account for new sources.Trace the causes of issues to their source.Collaborate with teams to develop new ways to incorporate data into their workflows.Make organizational data accessible, consistent, usable, and secure.Maintain proper data lineage, user interactions, transformations, and migrations along the data pipeline.Ensure accuracy and integrity with data; identifying data issues and working to resolve them.Work with cross-functional teams.Document the origin and sources of authority on each metadata element.Responsible for managing critical data, both reference and transactional, created or used by business functions.Ensure that access to sensitive data is restricted to only the proper stakeholders using security tools and access policies.Skills and experience we value2-5 years in Data Analysis or relevant Data Governance experience.Familiar working on Salesforce related objects, including Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities.Familiarity with Excel, SQL, and other Microsoft products.Experience with data from sources such as D&B, ZoomInfo is an asset.Experience with business glossaries, data definitions, and/or data catalogues is an asset.Experience with a Data Governance tool is an asset.What’s in it for youDayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
