JOB SUMMARY
The Salesforce Administrator will be part of the Partnerships team in Office of the Chancellor (OTC) that collaborates with business partners across the Northeastern global network. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for system administration and assistance with the Salesforce.com CRM and third-party applications. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with members of the OTC Partnerships Salesforce team and other departments, colleges, and campuses across the Global University Network.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or in a related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience with operational support and solid understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization. Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Experience and familiarity with Salesforce Classic. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required; additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder are a plus. Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce is a plus. Experience supporting partnerships in a higher education institution preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ability to work effectively with people with differing levels of technical knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role will be a hybrid role with 2 days a week on Boston campus and 3 days working from home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Salesforce Administration
Manage user access, permission sets, roles and profiles Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and optimize the user experience related to reports and dashboards. Conduct operational and maintenance tasks such as security administration, data migration, and job monitoring. Customize and configure Salesforce which includes creating and modifying fields and objects, performing uploads, as well as creating and managing flows, reports, the user interface, formulas, validation rules, page layouts, and data security. Ensure that data within Salesforce is accurate and up to date. You'll be responsible for monitoring data quality and resolving any issues that arise, such as duplicate records or incomplete data. Evaluate and implement third party solutions and app exchange packages based on project need or business request. Identify and evaluate new features and functionality related to the release schedule provided by Salesforce.com User Support and Projects
Provide first-line system support to both technical and non-technical users to help resolve technical trouble tickets or requests. Develop training and support documentation, reports, and dashboards to ensure customer success. Documentation of business requirements, solution and technical design, test plan design, and coordination of testing with users. Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. Complete Two Salesforce Training Courses: Enroll in and finish at least two Salesforce training courses or webinars relevant to your role. Achieve One New Certification: Obtain one new Salesforce certification or badge that enhances your skills and supports your professional growth. Engage with the Salesforce Community: Actively participate in Salesforce community groups or user meetings at least once per quarter to stay updated and share knowledge.
