Secret Regular SUMMARY: This position provides troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems in a variety of environments. Assistance and resolution are provided for personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client- servers as well Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and web pages. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Serve as a Virtual Battle Space (VBS) system support specialist providing games for training general support for all gaming applications and services. Support home station training using VBS, as needed, develop terrain, maps, and tailor scenarios to support the training. Provide systems administration support to all Gaming facilities in support of GFT operations, events, and exercises. Maintain Windows based workstations, replace computers, network, and systems within the VBS3 network. Provide on-site technical assistance, perform troubleshooting as required. Install software, image systems, conduct backup and recovery operations as needed. Develop and create attributes and models to extend the capability of VBS3. Assist Cybersecurity managers, secures data/devices. Plan, prepare, and deliver mission command integration and integrate requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming, and Mission Command (LVCG-MC) systems in training environments. QUALIFICATIONS: 8+ years of experience with the US Army 4+ years of experience with leading Army training Experience with Virtual Battle Space (VBS) software Ability to develop and present briefings on complex subjects Security+, A+, or Network+ certification Experience with the US Army Reserve or Army National guard a plus Ability to analyze training plans and assemble supporting documentation Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: HS diploma or GED AA or AS degree preferred Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
