Pacific Southwest Container is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead and execute the HR mission, which includes high quality, strategic HR partnership to this role's business partners at PSC's designated manufacturing site. The role encompasses all aspects of HR including, but not limited to people and leader development, attracting and retaining top talent, providing and at times, facilitating learning opportunities for the PSC workforce at all levels, employee relations, reducing risks, as well as additional people-related responsibilities. This role reports directly to the HR Director while working closely with the site's Operations Manager as well as all other frontline leaders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Site HR Lead for assigned manufacturing facility.Leads Human Resource programs within the assigned function, including but not limited to, employee engagement, development, talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, HR compliance, and unemployment.Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues via effective and thorough investigation.Operates as a trusted advisor to the site's leadership, strengthening team effectiveness, and ensuring PSC values are always adhered to.Provide balanced leadership as a member of management as well as an employee advocate.Coach site leadership on the effective use of positive employee relations approaches and practices.Supports hiring managers in identifying and retaining top talent, with focus on internal growth when possible.Drive best practice sharing with peer HR Managers across the PSC sites; ensure a "one team" approach across the manufacturing network.Coaches and develops leaders and team members.Identifies opportunities to streamline HR processes and helps to drive efficiencies with continuous improvement mindset.Leads and supports strategic HR initiatives.Leads an HR team, supporting growth and development, setting clear goals and objectives and providing clarity around role responsibilities.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge and experience with Federal and California employment law - CA/Fed leaves of absence, ADA, EEO, FLSA, FMLA, CFRA, etc.Prior supervisory and/or Employee Relations/Industrial Relations experience.Experience in the manufacturing industry.Experience enabling Lean Manufacturing / Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) practicesPassion and experience for engaging employees at all levels to drive business results.- Skilled In

HR Certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP etc)Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree preferredMinimum 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, manufacturing preferredExperience with ADP WorkforceNow or other HRIS,Ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a dynamic business environment.Experience with conflict management and demonstrated mediation skillsDemonstrated ability to develop strong consulting relationships and influence business leaders through coaching and partnerships

Salary: $100,000 - $132,000/yr. plus bonus depending on experience.
