Network Security Consultant (Strata)

to join a premier cybersecurity organization. The

Network Security Consultant

will provide guidance and technical support to clients deploying our security integrations.

This position will be onsite in San Francisco, CA!

Responsibilities of the

Network Security Consultant

include:

Communicate with customers, sales teams, peers, engineering, and support teams as appropriateUnderstand customer environment, requirements, and security roadmap to implement the appropriate security solutionConfigure, implement, and maintain Security Operating PlatformOptimize and migrate policies and objects from the existing environment to our Next-Gen FirewallTest and validate the migration environmentCoordinate and execute cutover to productionProvide guidance on code upgradesFacilitate the development of new application and threat signaturesInteract with our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to understand and diagnose support casesCollaborate with customer's security & network teams to build confidence across the business units impacted by the change to Palo Alto NetworksQualifications for the

Network Security Consultant

include:

5 years of experience with network/security solutions and technologies (BGP, SD-WAN concepts, VXLAN, general routing and switching)Experience in 7k and 9k environmentsHigh level of experience with Panorama and log collectorsNGFW and Global Protect expertiseDetailed technical experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of high-end firewall appliances, ideally Palo Alto Networks® productsExperienced in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologiesGood understanding of Internet protocols and applicationsPossess industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CNSE, JNCIE-SECCompensation for the
