This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, contributing to high-level transactions and providing strategic advice to business clients.Duties:Handle mergers and acquisitions, offering legal counsel through complex transactions.Provide legal services to privately held businesses, guiding them through various legal frameworks.Review, draft, and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws.Advise clients on capital raising efforts and ensure legal integrity in financing activities.Review and analyze loan documentation to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Advise on corporate governance matters, including board structuring, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Requirements:4-10 years of experience in a law firm or similar legal setting.Expertise in handling corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and capital raising.Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently while managing multiple clients and transactions.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar or the ability to become licensed in North Carolina.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity.Skills:In-depth understanding of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions.Strong drafting and reviewing skills for contracts and loan documents.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in advising businesses on governance and compliance matters.Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.Job Location:Charlotte, NC
