Job Description Summary As a Staff Accountant II working for Taylor Morrison you will work under management's direction, perform professional accounting work including the examination, analysis, maintenance, reconciliation and verification of financial records, and related duties as required. Additionally, perform accurate and efficient accounts payable processing, and ensure accounting records are organized and fully auditable.

Staff Accountant II you will: (responsibilities)

Process invoices and purchase orders and process payment for the Division Manage insurance requirements and lien waivers to ensure compliance by vendors Reconcile statements from vendors to ensure all payables are accurate and up to date Assist in preparing weekly reports and distribution to Division management and corporate office Assist in preparation and maintenance of account reconciliations Assist with month end responsibilities, including preparing journal entries Ad-Hoc duties and special projects as assigned by Division Controller, and/or VP Finance Assist with internal and external auditors as needed You are willing to perform other duties as assigned What you will need: (competencies, behaviors & attributes)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong desire to learn accounting skills in the homebuilding industry Accounts payable experience Computer literacy, including strong Microsoft Excel skills Credit report in good standing FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
