Position OverviewExperienced DevSecOps developer responsible for executing and extending development pipeline tools, securing containers and servers, integrating disparate technologies into the assembled products before customer delivery, and providing enterprise monitoring and deployment capabilities – all in support of a next generation collective training software system.

This position focuses on the operations side of DevSecOps. Develop automations to deploy high-end training and simulation software to local and remote users with a focus on audit and tracking of builds. Work with test to ensure that automated tests can work alongside our deployment pipelines.

ResponsibilitiesContribute to DevSecOps team in creating and modifying Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, building in security processes and scanning tools and remediating findings, installing and integrating software for the collective training hardware, and developing enterprise deployment and execution monitoring capabilities for a next generation training system. Work with other development scrum product owners to create automated builds and tests, security checks, execution monitoring, and deployment of simulation capabilities. The code consists of Java, C++, Angular, and TypeScript.

Software is developed in an Agile DevOps environment. Servers are administered with Containerization/Pod tools.

Position is

on-site

at the Orlando, FL location. There is a possibility for limited travel to Company or customer-owned locations.

Required Experience/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience

Minimum Two (2) years of experience developing, integrating, and testing capabilities of large, complex environments

Experience in navigating and operating within Windows and Linux environments

Experience in automation and deployment tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef

Experience with CI/CD toolsets such as Bamboo, Hudson/Jenkins

Experience with Scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell)

Must have experience working both independently and as a member of a software development team

Flexibility and a willingness to change directions to meet organizational needs

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo

Experience using Containerization Tools like Kubernetes and Docker
