Job description

Over 10+ years of comprehensive operations management experience, involving end-to-end responsibilities for configuring, fault isolation, and resolution in relation to network infrastructures. Proficient in managing routers, switches, load balancers, bandwidth management systems, DNS, NMS, NIPS, NGFWs with integrated IPS. Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure components, encompassing Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless, VPN, and Cloud Networking. Possess robust knowledge in Firewalls, covering aspects such as IPSEC VPN, UTM/IPS, DoS Policy, and SSL inspection. Hands-on experience in deploying SSL Certificates and Encryption, with a strong focus on Cloud Access, Virtual Environment, and Data Center network technologies. Essential proficiency in working with Cisco Switches/Routers and Firewalls, including expertise with Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Firewalls. Demonstrated expertise in SD-WAN technology, ensuring effective deployment and management. Possess advanced knowledge of IP Routing and switching, with extensive experience in major routing and switching protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, RIP V2, Multicast, Spanning Tree, VLANs, ATM, MPLS/Tag Switching, and Data Link Switching. Thorough understanding of enterprise Ethernet, VLANs, and L2/L3 Switching & Routing. Specialized skills in VPN termination, covering IPSEC/GRE tunnels, FortiClient VPN, Cisco VPN client, and Site-to-Site VPNs. Strong troubleshooting skills across diverse networks and cloud platforms. Hands-on experience in implementing and administering Enterprise-grade Wireless (Wifi) solutions. Mandatory certification as a CCIE or CCNP (Routing & Switching) Problem Solving: identifies and resolves problems timely; gathers and analyzes information effectively; develops alternative solutions. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification in routing and switching, Service Provider or higher, or equivalent knowledge and experience. Ability to design, deploy, and maintain MPLS, VPN and VRF network cores. Ability to design, deploy, and maintain QoS across a service provider network. Functional understanding of Layer 2 functions and switching (VLAN, VXLAN, STP, MAC Filtering, etc.). Experience with VoIP, preferred. Experience with Cisco is mandatory; experience with Juniper and Palo Alto, preferred. Experience with OTV routers, Cisco ISE & ASA firewall deployments. High level of understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocols. SR and IS-IS, preferred. Experience with Cisco NXOS, IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR. Ability to interpret and apply complex technical information. Knowledge of industry standard network systems design and implementation. Knowledge of security and communications networks; and knowledge of technical and user-related aspects of a personal computer environment, preferred. Experience with the following is preferred: TACACS+, RADIUS, DNS, DHCPv4, DHCPv6, or IPAM/DDI.
