Discover what to expect during your journey as a candidate with us.As a Platform DevOps Engineer, you will build, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your clients’ needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. You will help us develop and manage container management software to solve some of our clients' toughest challenges.In this role, you will streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production, using the latest cloud technologies to improve your clients’ environments with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. You will work directly with clients to inform strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process with Amazon Web Services (AWS), software integration, cloud architecture, and Kubernetes.You will recommend tools, such as Kubernetes, to help your clients manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you will broaden your skills in areas like Containerization and Microservices while developing critical cloud platforms for our clients.You Have:4+ years of experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestrationExperience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformExperience with supporting Cloud applications or infrastructureExperience within infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous deliveryExperience with Docker, OpenShift, or KubernetesTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diploma or GEDAbility to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hireNice If You Have:Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experienceExperience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or RubyExperience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XMLExperience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configurationExperience with the OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model or DevSecOps Maturity ModelCloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification, Google Certified Professional – Cloud Architect, or MCSE – Cloud Platform and InfrastructureClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD).
