as
General Manager 6
and play a vital role in shaping the future of child nutrition while optimizing processes that benefit students and communities alike! The General Manager 6 will be responsible for providing consultative/project management for the food and nutrition department within this school district. This contract requires the onsite professional to have a bachelor's degree with an academic major or concentration in food and nutrition, clinical nutrition, dietetics, family and consumer science, or nutrition education. Master’s degree in the same fields of study is preferred. Relocation assistance offered for this bonus-eligible position.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze data from diverse sources to identify trends and generate effective solutions to challenges.
Utilize data-driven technology, including Google Workspace and Outlook, to enhance operational efficiency.
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Optimize data management processes to support asset lifecycle management, data integrity, labor management, and materials tracking.
Collaborate with client leadership to align procurement strategies with district goals.
Provide expertise in child nutrition to school districts, supporting program development and implementation.
Engage in community outreach to promote child nutrition initiatives.
Develop recommendations for menu planning and purchasing strategies.
Assist in compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations.
Prepare projects for leadership to facilitate execution.
Oversee Sodexo's month-end reporting systems.
Conduct regular audits of system operations to identify trends and promote continuous improvement.
Ensure full compliance with federal procurement requirements and optimize program use of Sodexo's procurement systems.
Select appropriate products and manage delivery to meet future food needs in collaboration with district requirements.
The candidate we seek will possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
3 years National School Lunch Program experience
Project management
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Valid driver’s license required
