Minimum Qualifications
License Required:
Possession of a valid driver's license may be required depending upon assignment to perform the essential job functions of the position.
Education:
Possession of an Associates' degree from an accredited college or university in public relations, business, communications, management, political science, economics, psychology, sociology, social science or closely related field, or successful completion of 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an accredited college or university.
Substitution for Education:
Additional years of qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis for the required education.
Experience:
One (1) year of experience serving as a member of a Board of Supervisors, or three (3) years of experience in a public or private agency which involved sensitive public issues and exposure to policy and budget review and interpretation.
