Kadiak, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Human Resources Specialist with 6+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will provide advisory services on complex issues related to Human Resources activities, including HR metrics, employee surveys, staffing details, recruitment strategies, and compliance reports. This position requires expertise in managing data analytics, translating findings into actionable insights, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Human Resources Specialist should have experience with Concur and Time & Attendance System Administration. The ability to perform data analysis, reporting, and exhibit strong problem-solving skills is crucial for success in this role.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:
The Senior Human Resources Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and compile HR metrics from various sources, generate staffing details, and ensure compliance with government policies. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Creating and reviewing position descriptions, maintaining vacancy announcement logs, enhancing recruitment strategies, and coordinating intra-agency reports.Designing and developing reports for senior management, fostering effective resource utilization within the organization, and liaising with government offices.Managing automated systems to track and analyze data as a subject matter expert, providing technical advice on data analysis methodologies.Leveraging experience with Time & Attendance System Administration to fulfil duties related to employee time tracking and attendance management.Collaborating with the IM-11 team to ensure accurate and timely reporting on HR metrics and staffing details.Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.5+ years of experience providing advisory services on HR activities.Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.Experience with Concur or similar travel and expense management systems.Experience with Time & Attendance System Administration.Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of government HR policies and procedures.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and accuracy in data reporting.Familiarity with compliance reporting requirements.Ability to obtain a Public TrustDesired Skills and Competencies:
Experience working in a federal government HR environment.Expertise in designing and delivering data analysis presentations.Understanding of program operations evaluation.Project management and risk assessment skills.Ability to tailor analytical outputs for specific audiences.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
