Lawelawe leverages our NHO status to secure federal contracts that not only drive business success but also support our overall mission to uplift economically disadvantaged Native Hawaiian families and preserve the Native Hawaiian heritage.Who You AreThe ideal candidate will guide the development and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation of the Kapapahuliau Climate Resilience Program. You will lead and coordinate the evaluation program per established timelines, collaborate with team members to ensure all deliverables are on timeHow You Will Make an ImpactYour involvement in planning and designing evaluation methodologies, as well as supporting the identification, development, and recommendation of data collection materials, will be integral to enhancing data accuracy and effectiveness. By collecting, analyzing, and meticulously documenting data, you will provide valuable insights that shape strategic decisions. You will play a key role in developing comprehensive reports and presentations, ensuring that findings are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
May assist with evaluation design and data collection planningProvide support in identifying, evaluating, and making recommendations for data collection materials for various data collection methods. May assist with development of data collection materials for various collection methods, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting and disseminating resultSCollect, analyze and document dataAssist with report and presentation development and presenting findings as requiredProvide training to collection staff to ensure understanding of objectives, collection materials and methodsParticipate in team meetings as requiredMay be required to attend and participate in annual symposiumThe TeamLawelawe Training Services is an SBA Certified 8(a) Native Hawaiian Owned (NHO) SDB leveraging the capability and past performance of the Lawelawe family of companies. Here's what you need:
Experience in climate change adaptation and resilience, with a focus on research and report writing.Experience in community or stakeholder engagement, especially with Native Hawaiian Organizations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Cultural awareness and sensitivity.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.This is a remote position.
