About the Role
We are looking for Assemblers to perform the duties described below for our plant in Spartanburg SC USA
Your Responsibilities
Assembles parts by operating machines or using manual methods in a safe manner to meet production goals.
Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Ensures compliance with all safety and quality standards. Reports any deviations immediately.
Observesoperation of machines and verify conformance of work piece to specifications and dimensions as well as visually inspect parts for non-conformance.
Trains other employees as needed.
Creates and maintains a safe and healthful work environment.
Responsible for 5S within the plant and daily housekeeping.
Performs other duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the company.
Who we are looking for
Experience in automotive manufacturing a plus.
Knowledge of production assembly line processes is a plus.
Knowledge of metals is a plus.
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to stand on feet for at least 8 hours per day
Your preferred qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
