The Junior Talent Acquisition Partner is a part of the Talent Acquisition team and manages the initial steps of the recruiting process. The Junior Talent Acquisition Partner's responsibilities include using various channels (online job boards, candidate sourcing and searching, referral sources, etc.) to look for potential candidates. Contact passive candidates and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs. This position should have networking skills, be able to source candidates on social media outlets, and should enjoy learning the details of various roles within the organization. The Junior Talent Acquisition Partner takes a proactive approach to identifying the Company’s hiring needs and helps to fill job vacancies with qualified candidates. The Junior Talent Acquisition Partner also assists Talent Acquisition Partners in conducting initial Pre-Screens when needed.Benefits

Identifies candidates using innovative search methods that include cold-calling, networking, deep internet sourcing, and miningCoordinates with hiring managers to determine position requirements and learns about the duties/responsibilities of an open position by doing independent research such as reviewing competitor’s job openings/requirements and talking with candidates about their responsibilities and expectations in each positionIdentifies qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search)Develops talent pipelines for future hiring needsMeasures conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, receive invitations to interview, receive offers, and result in a hireMaintains candidate databases to track source of candidates (e.g., via our Applicant Tracking System)Promotes our employer brand online and offlineFollows-up and communicates with past applicants regarding new job opportunitiesInteracts with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn)May assist with scheduling candidates to meet or talk with hiring managers, and gathers/submits all required documentation to Recruiter to process and send the offer of employmentWill follow up with candidates throughout the Background processSupports/coordinates training and travel requests for new hiresOther related job duties as assignedQualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Extensive knowledge of networking and internet research techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time-management skillsHigh degree of accuracy and exceptional attention to detailStrong knowledge of and experience working in full cycle recruitmentFamiliarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)Ability to positively present our company and open job opportunities to potential candidatesAbility to balance workload and prioritize tasksAbility to maintain confidential informationAbility to work in a team environment as well as independently, with minimal directionAbility to demonstrate an understanding of human resources practices/policies related to the new hire processProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ATSProactive, self-starter, ability to take direction and handle constructive feedbackProactive approach to recruiting and experience building talent pools/talent communitiesProven success cold calling candidates and overcoming objectionsEducation and Experience:Two (2) years of experience in recruitingAssociates Degree or Bachelors highly preferredProven work experience as a Junior Talent Acquisition Partner or similar roleProven experience contacting, attracting, qualifying, and converting high-potential prospects through multiple channelsFirsthand experience with sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)HVAC Industry experience or service industry a plusPhysical requirements:Continuously able to work in office environmentContinuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printerContinuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hoursAble to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the dayOccasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talkingOccasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouchingRarely requires climbingMust be willing to work full time out of an office located in location of Job Posting.
