Middleware Integration Developer IntroThe Middleware Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining solutions for enterprise application integration, adhering to development standards and the software development lifecycle process. This role includes analysis, design, planning, programming, testing, documentation, error/exception handling, performance improvements, business process implementation, and the creation or improvement of all related technical products, solutions, and processes.
Middleware Integration Developer Job DetailsThe developer will work directly with core internal and external customers to ensure system functionality, availability, and reliability meet all business needs. This position is crucial for maintaining a stable and functional environment by ensuring the efficiency, availability, connectivity, integrity, and security of multiple Integration Systems and J2EE Application Servers. Additionally, the role supports and administers the Meter Data Management system and maintains metrics to enhance tools for system monitoring and incident resolution/escalation.
Middleware Integration Developer Mandatory Skills- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.- Significant experience with at least 7 of the following:- Administration, performance tuning, and development in IBM ACE and MuleSoft- IBM MQ or IBM ACE development, including the ability to write custom WebSphere nodes- API (Application Programming Interface) development and administration experience using IBM ACE and MuleSoft- Administration in Tomcat, Weblogic, and WebSphere Application Server on UNIX and Windows platforms- Installation experience with IBM MQ/IBM ACE or WebSphere Application Server in a High Availability configuration- Java or ABAP programming- JVM tuning- Service-Oriented Architectures - SOAP, WSDL- Restful Services using RAML or Swagger- Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop data administration on UNIX and Windows systems- Perl, Shell Scripting, XSLT, DataWeave, SQL programming skills
Middleware Integration Developer Desired Skills- Experience with enterprise application integration in a complex environment.- Familiarity with Meter Data Management systems.- Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers and Integration Systems.- Previous experience in a high-availability environment.- Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Integration Developer).
