CACI is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to work closely with a team of ServiceNow Developers, Business Analysts, and ServiceNow Architects on a contract supporting Department of Homeland Security’s network and security operations. The IT Business Analyst will work with the team to collect and define client requirements, analyze and document business and technical processes, conduct quality assurance and control activities, and provide overall program and project support across teams.
About the Role:
Providing operational program and project support to program manager and team leads.
Analyzing and documenting business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ascertain system and network requirements such as functions, input data, output data, techniques, controls, User Acceptance Testing criteria, and execution of user’s acceptance.
Writing and editing documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Job Aids.
Conducting Quality Reviews of documentation to identify improvement opportunities.
Increasing proficiency in specific business disciplines such as Operations Management.
Create and distribute operational reports as requested.
Facilitating projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams to produce better business outcomes.
Collecting and maintaining program/project metrics and develop improvements in metrics.
Facilitating project activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
Hosting and facilitating daily/weekly/monthly project/operational meetings with government and contractors.
Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.
Developing and producing documentation, reports, and presentation slide decks.
Preparing and presenting briefing materials to staff, executives, and federal customers. Interactions involve client meetings and interfacing with senior management.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD)
B.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience
Previous experience as a Scrum Master
Previous experience as a Business Analyst
Attention to detail and resourcefulness
Direct scheduling experience, preferably working on other large Government contracts.
Expert at using Kanban boards and agile methodologies
Expert of Scrum methodologies
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong Microsoft Office experience, predominantly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited to no guidance
Preferred Qualifications:
SAFe Agile
Certified Scrum Master
ITIL Foundation
Other IT technical certifications
PMP
