Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Desktop Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft SCCM and Intune, as well as expertise in Windows 10 and 11 imaging and support. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation and management of desktop systems within our organization.
Manage and maintain the desktop environment, including deployment, imaging, and support of Windows 10 and 11 systems.Utilize SCCM and Intune for software deployment, patch management, and system monitoring to ensure compliance and security.Develop and implement desktop imaging processes and procedures to streamline setup and deployment of workstations.Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop issues, providing high-level technical support to end-users.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute upgrades and migrations of desktop operating systems and applications.Document technical processes, procedures, and solutions to create a knowledge base for team members.Provide training and support to junior analysts and end-users on desktop technologies and best practices.Monitor and optimize desktop performance and reliability, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve desktop support practices .Application packaging techniques for application deployment using SCCM or Intune.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in desktop support, with a focus on SCCM and Intune.Proficient in Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, including imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of ITIL principles and service management practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions and policies.Knowledge of hardware configurations and specifications for desktop and laptop systems.
