You can work in our San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ offices.You’ll sweep us off our feet if…You have knowledge in Digital Advertising, retail media and ad measurementYou’re proficient in modeling algorithms and programming languagesYou’re comfortable influencing others, communicating clearly with clients and working with cross functional stakeholdersYou’re customer-centric in spirit and in executionYou have a test and learn mentality and an agile way of working to improve your solutionsYou are adaptable and don’t miss a beat with changing asksResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on coding to retrieve and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, VBA and/or RIntegrate disparate data sources and leverage state-of-the-art analytics best practices to deliver integrated actionable insights to partners and stakeholdersContribute with building measurement / analytics tools and platforms that reflect the best and most appropriate solutions availableManage and streamline data extraction process with great attention to detailsAssess the potential usefulness, validity, and rigor of new data sourcesWork with cross-functional team to ensure that the quality of the data is of the highest standardMinimum QualificationsMaster’s degree in statistics/mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, or related field4+ years of industry experience in data, analytics, data science roleExperienced with display advertising measurement, including Synthetic Control Methodology, Ghost Ads, RCTs, and Experiment DesignExperienced with Time Series Analysis, Bayesian Methods for Lift StudiesProficient coding skills (SQL/Python/R)Deep knowledge on relational database capabilitiesExperience in integrating, structuring, and analyzing large amounts of data from diverse sourcesStrong project management skills and attention-to-detail documentation skills.Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hive/Hadoop) and modern data visualization tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Looker, etc)Strong written & verbal communication with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to a range of audiences and to ‘tell a story’ that provides insight into the businessYou have a passion for working in a fast-paced agile environment.A collaborative mindset and sense of curiosityPreferred QualificationsPhD degree in statistics/mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, or related fieldExperience with predictive modeling algorithms and optimization techniquesExperience applying statistics to business problemsExperience with advertising, measurement, and/or digital marketing analyticsExperience with advertising technology platforms Ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, etc.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
