Job Summary:The Demand Planner will play a pivotal role in supporting the generation and assessment of the demand forecast, which drives the company's supply chain processes, resource allocation decisions, and ensures the fulfillment of customer and consumer needs. As a key member of the Profit Growth Management (PGM) & Planning team, the Demand Planner will work collaboratively across functions, applying insights and technology to develop a unified consensus forecast and manage integrated business processes to deliver customer value.Key Responsibilities:Demand Forecasting: Support the development and refinement of the statistical demand forecasting process based on established frameworks, including the application of promotional and lifecycle planning modules.Forecast Evaluation & Adjustment: Evaluate the statistical forecast at customer, location, package, and material levels, comparing results with the mid-term customer forecasts provided by the account management team. Analyze variances and make adjustments to ensure accurate and actionable demand forecasts.Cross-functional Collaboration: Assist in the Sales & Operations Execution process by working with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Production, Finance, and Planning teams to achieve consensus on forecasts.Forecast Quality & Analysis: Proactively assess forecast quality through trend analysis and comparison of forecast vs. actual outcomes, leveraging customer promotional calendars and other relevant data to ensure forecast accuracy.Integrated Planning: Collaborate with other planners (e.g., lifecycle, bottler-to-bottler, deployment, production, transportation) to enable seamless integrated planning activities.Material Management: Support the management of material introduction and deletion, including the realignment of sales history to reflect forecast needs.Process Improvement: Drive continuous business process improvement through attention to detail and identification of opportunities to optimize planning processes.Learning & Development: Demonstrate a strong self-motivation to enhance personal capabilities and those of the team through various learning methods.Strategic Thinking: Navigate complex business processes with an understanding of upstream and downstream implications, and support decision-making to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, or Operations.Strong experience in demand forecasting and supply planning.Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams at all levels.Technical Skills:Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Familiarity with SAP APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) is highly desirable.Experience with project management is preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with statistical forecasting tools and advanced analytics.Previous exposure to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.Knowledge of customer promotional strategies and lifecycle planning.Certifications (if any):Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
