This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications and systems.Manage OS and BIOS settings as well as the imaging process for new Windows devices (SCCM and Intune).Oversee the upgrade process for Windows, including pre-cache and upgrade task sequences. Ensure all necessary content, such as OS upgrade packages and drivers, is downloaded before the upgrade begins. Perform prerequisite checks to verify system compatibility and manage driver updates.Develop and maintain task sequences for Windows, incorporating the latest security patches and software updates. Manage BIOS updates and settings for supported models (Microsoft, Lenovo, and Dell).Provide support for updating various applications, ensuring they are up-to-date and compatible with the company's systems.Actively involved in vulnerability management, ensuring synchronization with asset owners, stakeholders, and the security team on outstanding vulnerabilities.Handle failures and troubleshoot issues during the upgrade and application management processes. Record extensive information in logs for troubleshooting and ensure devices meet upgrade standards.Work closely with other teams to coordinate upgrades and application management. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Provide escalation support for assigned applications/roles via multiple channels including ServiceNow, Teams chat/channels, and email. Participate in on-call rotation to provide support after hours and on weekends.About You:Associate’s degree in a vocational or technical degree related to information technology or related field equivalent experience, required.4-7 years of experience in applications engineering.Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, required.Proven experience in application engineering, system upgrades, and digital engineering.Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.In-depth experience with BIOS updates and settings management.Strong familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Rapid7 Insight Agent.Extensive knowledge of driver management and system compatibility checks.Workstyle:
Fully onsite.We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits.
