Windows Systems AdministratorWINDOWS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORSUMMARYWe are lookingfor an experienced Windows System Administrator to manage and maintain ourWindows server infrastructure and SAN/NAS storage systems. This role requiresexpertise in Windows server architecture and antivirus management.Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and supporting Windows serversand applications, ensuring effective backup and disaster recovery processes,and collaborating with key vendors to stay current on technology advancements.The ideal candidate will proactively identify system improvements, troubleshoottechnical issues, provide end-user support, and participate in our 24x7 servicecommitment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.Perform duties typically handled by system engineers, such as network issues, managing domain controllers, remote connections/locations servers, file servers, anti-virus servers, Windows group policy settings, managing Windows Active Directory, etc.Expert in Windows server architecture and SAN/NAS. Designs, builds, deploys and maintains Windows servers and SAN/NASInstalls, configures and supports all Windows server based business applications. Serves as administrator for those applicationsResponsible for developing backup/recovery plans for Windows servers, ensuring daily backups, and restoration (including Disaster Recovery)Works with key vendors such as Dell, HP, EMC to keep abreast of new technology that improves network and Windows server environmentsResponsible for purchasing Windows servers & storage systemsWork closely with the rest of IT team and be proactive in identifying Windows Systems improvements for current or future projectsDevise innovative work-around solutions or new processesAnalyze Windows systems changes and participate in technical troubleshootingProvide Help Desk support directly to end users to resolve issues in a timely mannerMay require travel on a special needs basisParticipate in the Company's 24x7 support service commitmentQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School Diploma or GED required.3+ years of relevant Microsoft product support, Help Desk or related work; and 1+ year of Windows administration dutiesStrong knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 ServerStrong knowledge of security patch management, server monitoring, and Disaster Recovery practicesStrong knowledge of backup and recovery proceduresStrong knowledge of Dell / EMC HardwareStrong knowledge of Anti-Virus / Anti-Spyware technologiesFamiliarity with MS SQL Server, IIS, SUSFamiliarity with SAN/NAS, Windows clustering, Server virtualizationStrong knowledge of Windows Servers, DHCP/DNS/WINSStrong knowledge of MS Active Directory, group policy and script managementSolid understanding of TCP/IP, including DNS and subnettingExcellent time, project management and organizational skillsExcellent personal skills to work with a variety of peopleFamiliar with project management techniques and processesAbility to work as team member and independently with minimal supervisionCore Laboratories, includingall of its affiliated and related entities, is an equal opportunity employerand is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
