Jr. Automation Tester

Team: Data platform/insights team 25-30 applications use platform, responsible for validating tagging on the platformFocus is validation on the data they captureWill be working on a new Video Streaming platform that is still in production - platform that their TV application runs on, when a user plays content, want to validate data from that based on user experience, buffer, etc. Simulate buffer scenarios and see if the platform is capturing the data, failures, etc. UI testing, but looking at data captures In house automation tools, Ruby scripting Must/Nice-Haves (Concepts & Tools):Needs to have some sort of automation experience, interested in learning new frameworks/languages Willing to learn - HUGE Needs hands on scripting (java, js, Ruby, Python, etc.) Test execution on Android/Web applicationsThey're using Ruby on Rails, but this isn't requiredVideo IP Streaming, Connected Devices, Roku/Apple TV apps is a HUGE PLUS Ideally, 2-3 years' experience with some scripting/automation for web, familiarity with mobile is ok Initially will be all manual testing, then once the product is launched, they'll incorporate more automation Might need to help out with offshore teams, support other platforms as needed. Creating backup capacity onshore, leverage this person for immediate requests.
