Web/.NET Full Stack Developer
IntroOur client's (RPS) technology team is seeking a Web/.NET Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic, fast-moving, and agile environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about developing high-quality, high-performance, and scalable software that supports mission-critical projects and applications for the management of clients' retirement accounts.
Job DetailsThe responsibilities of a Mid-Level Software Developer include delivering new concepts and features while working alongside other Software Engineers in a cross-functional, agile environment. The role involves performing development and testing activities, utilizing automated software test tools and frameworks, including test-driven development, to ensure the highest quality in software delivery. Additionally, the developer will partner with the scrum master and product owner to build development sizing and cost analysis estimates and identify technology risks early to establish mitigation plans.
Mandatory Skills•Professional level .Net web and service development skills, with 4-5 years of applicable experience in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.Net, MVC, or other Microsoft-based development tools.•3+ years of experience in developing front-end web applications using Angular/Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, or other frameworks.•Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Karma, Load Runner, or other testing tools and frameworks.•Experience developing/managing REST and SOAP-based Web Service API(s) in a transaction processing environment.•Experience with both relational and non-relational (unstructured) database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, etc.•Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, containers, or other cloud platforms.•Experience working in a CI/CD environment (Bamboo) and with the full Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Bitbucket).•Experience participating as a member of a scrum team in an agile environment.•Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Desired Skills•Proven experience working in matrixed or corporate environments.•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.•Excellent communication skills.
