Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled DevOps/Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in DevOps, automation, build engineering, and configuration management. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AWS services, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment automation. This role involves working with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform, managing AWS infrastructure, coordinating with teams for continuous operation, and providing documentation for system releases.
Key Responsibilities
•Implement solutions using AWS tools and services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, Elastic Load Balancer, and Auto Scaling groups.
•Manage AWS EC2 instances, setting up AWS VPC, and configuring private/public subnets based on application requirements.
•Handle AWS infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and EC2 installations with CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL 6, and Linux.
•Administer GitHub, manage the release lifecycle, and maintain code flow through custom automation.
•Use Jenkins with various plugins (tests, logs, backups) to support CI/CD processes.
•Apply Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
•Write UNIX scripts for deployment and system builds.
•Create AWS infrastructure as code templates with Terraform to set up staging and production environments.
•Automate Kubernetes clusters with configuration management and write playbooks for deployment.
•Utilize JIRA for project tracking, creating, and updating stories.
•Collaborate with development, testing, deployment, systems/infrastructure, and project teams to ensure continuous operation.
•Coordinate with Release Management for system releases across development platforms.
•Document installation, upgrade, and release guides for application deployments.
Required Qualifications
•Proven experience in DevOps, automation, build engineering, and configuration management.
•Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, Elastic Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, VPC).
•Proficiency with GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
•Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and scripting.
•Familiarity with SCM practices in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall environments.
•Experience using JIRA for project tracking and coordination.
•Excellent documentation skills for installation and release guides.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with configuration management and automation in Kubernetes clusters.
•Familiarity with system release coordination and collaboration across multiple teams.
