Programmer/Developer Lead - Java Springboot

Capgemini is looking for a Senior Java Developer. This will be an onsite role in Philadelphia, PA.Key Responsibilities:

5+ years of experience in related application development.Strong in Java 8 and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate).Good knowledge of database (Oracle or PostgreSQL).Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework.Experience with the design and implementation of REST APIs.Use of Git VCS to manage and track code changes.Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries and recognize those that are not.Implement and optimize algorithms and data structures to improve application performance.Familiarity with AWS EKS and/or Kubernetes is a plus.Implement and understand logging, metrics and tracing for application monitoring and optimization.Conduct root cause analysis of production errors to identify and resolve issues.Understanding of CI/CD best practices and how to create and troubleshoot build pipelines.Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications.Experience with integration architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, Pub/Sub, etc.Ability to write scripts in Python or Java.Required production support experience. Knowledge about Kibana or any other logging framework.Life at Capgemini
