Information Technology Network Engineer

Job Title: IT Network Engineer Location: Longmont CO 80501 (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months on contract with possible extension Pay Range: $54/hr to $62/hr Job Description: As an IT Network Engineer , you will be responsible for the operational health (Security, Availability, Performance, Interoperability and Reliability) of Client's data communications systems. You will support the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and administration of Client's data and voice communications systems. Network Engineers specialize in LAN/WAN, Wireless, and Telecommunications hardware, software and cabling. You will regularly work with Client's Business Units to ensure solutions meet or exceed business requirements. Operates company's internal data communications systems. Plans, designs and implements local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP). Supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of such items as routers and switches. Works on project implementation. Provides training and assists with proposal writing. Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons. Lead and collaborate with various engineering groups to optimize current processes and align the network to improve manufacturability, yield, quality and cost performance of products Work with process integration team to implement and integrate new/improved process workflow Maintain documentation for new and improved processes Work with the global network teams to incorporate client standards and best practices into local site network builds.
