This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications and systems.Manage OS and BIOS settings as well as imaging process for new Windows devices (SCCM and Intune).Oversee the upgrade process for Windows, including pre-cache and upgrade task sequences. Ensure all necessary content, such as OS upgrade packages and drivers, is downloaded before the upgrade begins. Perform prerequisite checks to verify system compatibility and manage driver updates.Develop and maintain task sequences for Windows, incorporating the latest security patches and software updates. Manage BIOS updates and settings for supported models (Microsoft, Lenovo, and Dell).Provide support for updating various applications, including Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Rapid7 Insight Agent. Ensure applications are up-to-date and compatible with the company's systems.Actively involved in vulnerability management within the Technology Advancement Group, focusing on ensuring that asset owners, stakeholders, and the security team are synchronized on outstanding vulnerabilities and their associated incidents. Participate in weekly meetings to discuss remediation timelines and details associated with Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) for assets and vulnerabilities.Handle failures and troubleshoot issues during the upgrade and application management processes. Record extensive information in logs for troubleshooting and ensure devices meet upgrade standards.Work closely with other teams, including the Workplace Productivity Engineering team, to coordinate upgrades and application management. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.Collaborate with various teams, including the TAG Team and other Beta Testers, to ensure successful project outcomes.Provide support and guidance to team members and other departments, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.Actively participate in feedback sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.Provide escalation support for assigned applications/roles via multiple channels including ServiceNow, Teams chat/channels, and email. Participate in on-call rotation to provide support after hours and on weekends.About You:Associate’s degree in vocational or technical degree related to information technology or related field equivalent experience, required.4-7 years of experience in applications engineering.Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, required.Proven experience in application engineering, system upgrades, and digital engineering.Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.Advanced experience with task sequence development and management.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.In-depth experience with BIOS updates and settings management.Strong familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Rapid7 Insight Agent.Extensive knowledge of driver management and system compatibility checks.Workstyle:
Fully onsite.We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $75,000.00 to $116,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
